Almost every Eagle Scout has the backing of his parents, he can count on their support through his scouting career and the work on his project. The young man that completed his project here at the Dry Creek Cemetery did it on his own. The day of his project, he started hauling shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows to the site. He had to make two trips, starting at 4:30 in the morning to have things in place before the scouts showed up. Neither of his parents showed up the day of his project, he did it all himself.
He is the only scout I have worked with the managed to accomplish the task of completing his Eagle project without the aid of his family.
