Geocache Description:

Located in Lake Kegonsa State Park near Stoughton. As is the case with all state parks in Wisconsin, you will need a valid park sticker to get in.

"Lake of Many Fishes"- the Winnebago meaning of "Kegonsa"- is hidden just off of the beautiful Prairie Trail. The flowers are great in the summer, but so are the bugs as you enter into the woods (see also: "bring your bug spray"). The entire hike is 1.3 miles. Apart from the hiking, the park also has playgrounds, a beach, and a boat launch.

Have fun on the hunt!

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Sarah Bolser of the Lake Kegonsa State Park Office. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
