Cauldron linn, or Caldron Linn, also known as Star Falls, is a waterfall on the Snake River in Southern Idaho.
Caldron Linn was a key site on the Astor Expedition, an expedition to the Pacific Ocean led by Wilson Price Hunt. The expedition attempted to canoe down the Snake River and had alreadyy lost one of their party to the river when they excountered the waterfall.
Four wheel drive is NOT needed to find cache but I recommend it if you drive down into the canyon, but an interesting walk will get you there also. Cache is in a Plastic container.
Original contents of the cache is: Toy car, Lighter, Pencil sharpener, Golf ball, Water beads, Cactus seeds, Stylus, Pk tooth picks.
Please take something but replace it with something better. Makes it more fun.
