Hervanta ei tunnetusti ole mikään nähtävyyksien ihmemaa, mutta oman aikansa ikkunana se toimii mitä mainioiten. Purkilta on näköyhteys 1980-luvulla rakennettuihin kerrostaloihin, jotka ovat punatiilin vuorattuine betonielementteineen ajalleen hyvin tyypillisiä. Mitään muuta nähtävää kätköllä ei sitten olekaan, vieressä oleva Etelä-Hervannan koulu on sekin keltaisine tiilineen 80-luvun koulun tyyppiesimerkki. Kätkön ympärillä oleva metsä on sekin aivan normaalia sekametsää.
Toisaalta, kätköpaikka on niin tyypillinen suomalaiselle lähiölle, että ehkä sillä sittenkin on jotain arvoa. Jos ei muuta, niin ainakin tyypillisen lähiön tyypillisen lähiömetsän tyypillisenä paikkana, jota käytetään lähinnä läpikulkemiseen. Ja nykyään myös kätköilyyn.

There aren't many regular caches on the actual built area of Southern Hervanta. Could it be that this area is so dull there's really nothing to see?
Hervanta isn't known for it's sights but as a showcase for it's time it's an excellent location. From the cache you can see typical block of flats built in 1980's but that's pretty much anything there is to see. The nearby School of South Hervanta is also very typical for its time. The forest around the cache is ordinary Finnish forest, and so on.
On the other hand, if the cache location is so typical for Finnish suburbs, maybe it has it's own absolute value. At least this place is typical suburb forest of a typical suburb, used mainly for passing trough. And nowadays for geocaching, too.
