Arriving on scene, she's still conscious, firemen and the Jaws of Life working to get her out. I can see the other girls moving around. They seem okay. The officers are keeping us back at least 50 foot, but I can see her head moving around. After what seems like a lifetime, she in the ambulance to meet the medi -flight chopper. After many tests, x-rays & hours, we're sent home, with only a fractured ankle. Miracles happened at this location. After looking at the car, it is miraculous that a few broken fingers, a fractured ankle, and a lot of cuts and bruises are all these three girls suffered from. We hope you take from this cache: a traded trinket to remember your cache, a reminder that blessings are around us everyday, and the knowledge to slow down on these unpredictable dirt roads.
With all that being said, this is a major route for teenagers to go to the lake. They drive faster than they should, (and so do the adults); so use caution when parking to find the cache. {YIKES! I sound like an old lady!} The cache itself is a camo duct taped lunch box. It shouldn't be too hard to spot once you find the right tree.
Congrats JAMGUYS for the FTF
