Geocache Description:

The coordinates at the top of the page take you to the roof of a nine-story parking garage. From there, follow the instructions to locate the cache. The magnetic micro contains nothing but a log sheet.

STRANGE AS IT SOUNDS...

THIS CACHE IS MORE ENJOYABLE ON A WINDY DAY. OTHERWISE, THERE WILL BE NO CHIMES OF FREEDOM TO LISTEN TO.

THIS IS A FIFTEEN MINUTE CACHE.

#1 From the coordinates, go to the Southwest corner of the roof.

#2 From that corner, you can see BOTH a HUGE Whiskey Bottle and a HUGE baseball bat handle peeping over the adjacent motel.

#3 Walk NORTH about 60 feet to the top of the ramp, look down, and you will see a covered passageway with a 10-light skylight. You will also get your first glimpse of the CHIMES OF FREEDOM.

#5 Exit the garage, walk through that tunnel, and emerge at the CHIMES OF FREEDOM.

#6 The cache is directly across the street. Once you enter the parking garage at street level, there is no need to use the steps nor the elevators.

#7 The magnetic cache is within 10 feet of the elevator doors. You may feel it before you actually see it.

The terrain rating is useless on this cache because the hunt takes you to several different levels prior to the final stop and your approach can drastically alter the rating.

(By today's standards, technically this is not a multi-cache. However, when it was placed in 2002, there was no "unknown" designation).
