Water Wars Multi-Cache

I came out early one morning a couple weeks ago to find a new hide in the area and decided to take the old road back to Banning and hide a few new caches along the way. Some will be a short hike off the road making them harder and some will be easy. Please be careful of the critters that call this area home while searching this dry desert mountain area and by all means stay safe and have fun.

This is a two stage multi cache. You will need to go to the posted coordinates and find the four digit number to use to calculate the final coordinates. The final location is quite close to the first location and just a short hike up the rocky draw from the road. The number you seek is on Mr. Jones’s creation.

After finding the number you will need to do some math to get the final location coordinates.

Four digit number from Mr. Jones = ####

Final N coordinates = #### - 2100 + starting N coordinates

Final W coordinates = starting W coordinates - (#### - 2840 + 797)

This road is accessible with two wheel drive most of the year. After a rain or during thunderstorms which frequent the area you may not want to try it without four wheel drive.
