Overview
Eagles rock in Glenade, County Leitrim is Irelands Highest free standing tower, it's summit is 330 metres above sea level and can be viewed from many miles in many directions.
Parking is recommended in the newly developed car park at the "Parking" Waypoint.
The Trail
Due to recent revelations in access restrictions, I can only advise on access to Caches 1 & 2. The Gulley Cache can be legitimately accessed from the top of the mountain, however this is another hike entirely! You can proceed along the track to both of these without issue, as the track is an agreed hiking route. If you are challenged while walking along the track, the challenge is unwarranted, however if you cross the fence at the top of the track to traverse to the bottom of the gulley, you do so at your own risk of being challenged.
The trail begins at the "TrailHead" Waypoint given. From here, cross the stile and hike up the track to Cache 1. Afterwards, continue up the track to Cache 2.
The Cache
This cache is a special type container and should not be too difficult to find with some geosense.
