The cache is now a bison tube.
The park is used by many locals to walk their dogs, play on the swings, hit a hurley. There is a gaelic pitch in the centre with players of all ages turning up to train. It has many fine mature trees, beautiful flowers, horticultural displays and grassland areas. There is a 5km parkrun every Saturday morning at 9.30am.
