Placed as an offset to the Endee Cemetery that can be seen on ghigher ground using binoculars, one mile west-northwest.
Access to the cemetery is by a primitive ranch road, not usable during inclement weather.
Endee was named after the ranch, ND. John and George Day, brothers, established the ranch in 1882. Endee had a post office from 1885 to l955. It was a major railroad and old Route 66 stop until the Chicago and Rock Island RR abandoned its tracks and I-40 was built to the north.
This cache is dedicated to the pioneers and settlers who developed this Endee community. We solicit your support to place a "Spirit" cache at a cemetery of your choice as a tribute to those who have gone on.
