The 1st of October is Tokyo Citizen's Day. On this day in 1898, the State of Tokyo was established. We, the members of geocaching groups in Tokyo, celebrate this occasion by hiding this cache, along with many other caches, all over our city. Many city-run parks, museums, zoos, and other attractions will be free on this day.
Iawaki-tei was build in 1896 as a residence of Iwasaki, a president of Mitubishi company. The garden is very beautiful and worth while to visit. On 1st of October (Tokyo Citizen's Day), the admission will be free.
The cache is hidden outside of this residence. The compass shows wrong value because of the tree and buildings. Use hint. Bring your own pen.
1０月１日は東京都民の日です。東京の施政は１８９８年のこの日に始まりました。 東京のジオキャッシンググループは共同でこの日を祝いキャッシュを設置しました。 多くの都立の施設、公園、庭園、ホールの入場料は無料となります。
岩崎邸は1986年に建てられ現在は国の管理になっていて重要文化財として保護されています。 洋館と日本式の建物がみごとに調和しており中庭も素晴らしい景観になっています。 土日にはこのうちの洋館内で東京藝術大学関係者を中心に午後の無料ミニコンサートが開催されます。 ここは都立の庭園となっているので10月1日の都民の日には入場料が無料になります。
