Slide Creek is a campground just 50 miles from the Eugene/Springfield area. Located on the east bank of the Cougar Reservoir. We love camping and boating with friends and family here every summer. We hid this cache two years ago and forgot about it! Checked on it while camping this summer and it was right where we had left it. The area is beautiful and the water is soft and clean, please respect it and CITO if needed. Thanks.
Make your way around the reservoir to the Slide Creek Campground and park in the day use area near the boat ramp. There is a very short walk to the red pump from parking. The hiding spot is within sight of the pump. Be sure to re-cover the cache well with natural camo.
