Geocache Description:

Go 4/10 mile north of Thomas B. Landers Rd. on Route 28-A in North Falmouth. Take the dirt road marked only by three mailboxes numbered 116, 122, & 124. Follow straight in until you get to the yellow iron gate, park to the far right hand side, don't block the gate. If you have kayak or canoe, there is a launch area beside where you park and a nice quiet pond to explore.

The cache is located in Town of Falmouth conservation land and is a good choice for your first time out. There are about 15 acres where you will find a pond, cranberry bogs, streams, walking trails and a fish ladder where Alewives or Herring run to spawn each spring. It's okay to bring your dog along as long as it's kept on a leash.

It is a short easy walk on fairly level ground through a peaceful wooded area. Please stay on the pathways and off the privately owned bogs You may have to move a few leaves and sticks to find your cache, please cover again when done. Inside you may find some of the following; A stash of "emergency cache". an action figure, Food TV, a nature CD, Cape Cod pin,glow-in-the-dark frog, key chain, a camera to document your find and of course, the Log Book. Take a trinket, leave a trinket. If you want to follow the trail to the end you should wear waterproof foot gear. Update: 3/14/04. We have done some housekeeping and removed the camera. The original Rubbermaid container has been replaced with an ammo box.

Have fun!
