Castle Hill Country Park series
First off A Big thanks to Mark and Stefan for allow the placement of this series of Geocaches.
This is a series of 10 Caches along one of the many walks within the grounds of Castle Hill, this is a circular walk of about 1.5 miles with all caches spread fairly evenly along the route. I have tried to keep them all child friendly, However depending on the age of your Geochildren some help may be required from an adult, it is advised that trousers are worn as some areas do have the odd Nettle or to close by
I have started them all off with a range of swappable items inside which may be slightly repetative until they have been found a few times and items have been swapped, some of the original contents include loom bands, mini padlocks, pens on retractable lanyards, mini finger skateboards, novelty erasers, reproduction gold and silver coins from the iron age, roman and medieval periods.
Please only take a swappable item if you have something to swap so as to keep the enjoyment for other children going.
Castle hill is a lovely area for a peaceful walk, there can however be plenty of muggles about so please use lots of stealth when locating and rehiding caches so the fun can continue.
Please if taking any Geopets always remember to pick up any mess that they make and disposse of it responsibly so as not to spoil the area
There are many entry points into the park one of which is the gravel layby on Anstey Lane however parking is very limited.
If you have never explored this area there are many many routes and pathways to explore including the castle mound itself.
Happy Geocaching
