Geocache Description:

Cache is a screw top container with logbook, pencil and a few swaps.

Cuilcagh mountain is the highest mountain in both Co Fermanagh and Cavan, the summit is 665m (2188ft) the cache is on the Fermanagh side and is the highest cache in Fermanagh. I have put the starting point for the walk on the south side as Fermanagh District Council are constructing a new boardwalk across the blanket bog on the walk up from the Marble Arch Caves side and public access to the summit will remain closed until work is finished in January 2015, as this is remote mountain environment please have the necessary hill walking skills and equipment as the weather can change very quickly, have a map, OSNI Discoverer series 1;50,000 sheet 26, a compass and know how to use them, there are great views down into Co Fermanagh from the cache site. Enjoy.
