Glespin is a small village which is unfortunately in decline. Formerly a mining village served by a railway line, it is now a small village with practically no amenities or job opportunities thanks to the loss of Ramage Distribution a few years ago and the demise of Scottish Coal. The school there, along with Crawfordjohn, was closed due to a lack pupils. In the school's last year, there was only 3 pupils. A few blocks of houses have been demolished over the years due to a lack of demand there especially as there is no longer a shop. According to Wikipedia, the only other information other than the fact that it is in South Lanarkshire is that Footballer Bobby Crawford, who played almost 400 Football League games for Preston North End, was born there in 1901. Currently, there is a bus route running to Lanark every day as well as the Dial-a-bus. The former Ramage's yard has been sold to a company which is based in Kirconnel who plans to expand there so things could be on the up.

The Cache is located on the road from Glespin to Crawfordjohn just over the bridge. It is a reasonably sized container so ideal for trackables. Parking 30ft along the road in a gateway.
Congrats to The Aljos for the FTF!
