The Eliza Furnace is a National Register site regarded as one of Pennsylvania's best preserved iron furnaces. The two-acre site is leased to Indiana County by the Cambria County Historical Society.
To get to Eliza Furnace, follow Route 422 to Strongstown. Turn south onto Route 403 and follow signs for the Ghost Town Trail/Eliza Furnace. From Route 22 take Wehum RD. Park at the Rexis Access Area and walk 200 yards toward Vintondale to reach the furnace.
