Geocache Description:

This series challenges you to fulfill a number of tasks, not the least of which is to hike all the way from the Shoreline – aka Burrard Inlet – to the Skyline, which in this case is the top of Skyline Trail in North Vancouver. Traversing a total distance of 8 kilometres, you will face an elevation gain of about 880 metres. The wise cacher will split this adventure into manageable sections. The rest of you should carry plenty of food and water.

Along the way, you will discover a few caches that contain clues you need to collect, others that are not what they seem to be, and a couple that we hope will make you smile.

MOSQUITO CREEK TRAIL WELCOMES CYCLISTS RIDING UPHILL ONLY BETWEEN MOSQUITO CREEK PARK AND PALISADE DRIVE.

For some reason, whenever I think of this cache I can’t get the Oscar Meyer Wiener theme song out of my head. You too? Don’t worry, the cache has nothing to do with wieners.

There’s a memorial bench across the path so you have a place to sit while signing the log. Again, your geosenses should guide you to the logical hiding spot, but if you’re in it for the numbers there’s always the hint.

We hope you enjoy this series. Remember to cache safely by always being aware of your surroundings, and please put the cache back as you found it.
