Along the way, you will discover a few caches that contain clues you need to collect, others that are not what they seem to be, and a couple that we hope will make you smile.
The portion of Mosquito Creek Trail above Montroyal Blvd is not maintained by the either the City or District of North Vancouver and, as such, it is unsuitable for cycling. The trail is covered in loose gravel and is far too narrow and steep for safe riding.
Along this stretch, you are closer to the creek and you might notice there are several spots where concrete "steps" have been created in the creekbed. These were installed decades ago in an effort to reduce erosion and minimize potential flood damage.
