Along the way, you will discover a few caches that contain clues you need to collect, others that are not what they seem to be, and a couple that we hope will make you smile.
THIS CACHE CONTAINS A CLUE YOU WILL NEED TO RECORD IN ORDER TO OPEN THE CONTAINER AT SHORELINE TO SKYLINE - TANGO. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE CLUE FROM THE CACHE.
The Skyline Trail portion of this series follows the right-of-way of the old Grouse Chairlift. Built in the 1940s, this wooden structure brought skiers and tourists up to the top of Grouse Mountain from Skyline Drive. The chairlift was retired in 1966 after the Grouse Mountain Skyride began operation. There are many relics of old chairlift equipment that can be seen (look but don’t touch!) to your left and right as you ascend the trail (or descend, if that’s how you roll).
This is another in the “not what it seems to be” category. You will probably be cursing our names after your first half hour of searching so feel free to peek at the hint.
We hope you enjoy this series. Remember to cache safely by always being aware of your surroundings, and please put the cache back as you found it.
