This is a very nice place to bring kids, and has a cute museum with a surprising amount of live animal exhibits. They have many examples of the flora and fauna you will run into while exploring the woods around the area, and also have a variety of educational programs to take in as the seasons pass each year. This place is quite the gem, if you are planning to hike storm king, feel free to visit this area beforehand and get a sense of how huge the mountain is from the bottom. This location is woodsy and in an extremely quiet area, there are often deer and wild turkeys all around the area so be stealthy if you want to see them! Also, bears. Watch out for those ;)
