Geocache Description:

This is the fourth cache in the series, an addition for 2014 taking a route over Beary Mountain eventually heading down towards Glen Helen with great views of the South and the West.

Good parking can be found in the Tynwald shopping carpark off the Poor Town Road. From here head accross the wooden foot bridge towards the shoppig complex and then turn left up the road to its junction with the A3 (TT Course). Directly opposite you will see a 'Green Lane' off road track. Take care crossing the road and once on the trail turn right and head upwards. The track heads steadily upwards from this point for about half a mile before reaching flatter ground and spectacular views accross the West and central Southern part of the Island before heading up again towards the summit and cache. As you reach the cache the path starts to head down again in the direction of Glen Helen.

The climb up to the cache is fairly strenuous and mainly consists of rocky uneven track that can be very wet and slippery when raining. Someone with reasonable fitness could walk up to this cache in about an hour from this parking location.

The cache is a medium size round plastic water tight container, black in colour. It contains a log and pencil however it is large enough to hold collectables or trackable items. This cache is within the boundaries of the 'Forest Wardens Trail' and is easily located on the trail with no climbing required.
