The Wabash Cannonball Still Stops Here Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ace-357: There is a lot of muggle activity in this area now, and I have been unable to find a suitable replacement, so it is, alas, time to let this one go. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

This cache is for J., who likes spooky stuff.

No tracks? No problem! The Wabash Cannonball is a ghost train. It takes the souls of the departed (especially hobos) to their final destination. Clearly no other train has stopped here for a long time. The cache is not on or next to the depot, which was built in 1871 for the Dansville & Mt. Morris Railroad. Bring your own writing implement.

"Here's to Daddy Claxton may his name forever stand.
And always be remembered round the courts of Alabam.
His earthly race is over and the curtains round him fall.
We'll carry him home to victory on the Wabash Cannonball."

Note: 11/12/14 I stopped by today and made the log container a bit less likely to separate from the rest of the cache. Please be careful replacing it so it fits completely into the slot provided.

++++++++Congratulations to GadgetCHC on the FTF!+++++++++
