Geocache Description:

Sam Barlow charged the pioneers $5 to use his wagon trail that would allow them to avoid rafting down the Columbia River.  What he didn't tell them was that they would have to negotiate Laurel Hill, where they were required to lash their wagons to trees at the top of the hill and lower them down gradually.  You can stand at the bottom of The Chute and peer up at the scar their wagons carved in the hillside, or hike the trail to the top to get a pioneer's-eye view of the scope of this endeavor.

The cache is an ammo can with various trinkets.  First to find gets....well.....FTF!
