Geocache Description:

It was one year ago that we lost apart of our DairyMedic team, Jeremy, my husband. He was the one who got us started on this crazy, fun adventure of geocaching. I wanted to put a cache out to remember him.

Jeremy not only enjoyed geocaching and traveling with his family, he also loved hunting, fishing, camping and pretty much anything dealing with the outdoors. He grew up riding his horse Babe. I actually got a chance to see her many years after his parents sold her. Jeremy knew right away that it was her.

Jeremy and I met in Yellowstone. We both were working there for a summer. Our first date was to Tower Falls. We have lived in Dillon, Helena, Eureka and in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. We have also lived in my hometown of Midland, Michigan and around the Denver area.

Jeremy was a jack of all trades. He grew up in construction. He worked as a mechanic, salesman, a milker and farm hand on a dairy farm (that is where the Dairy comes from), a hot tub tech., and many more. Jeremy also enjoyed working with people. His favorite job was being an EMT in Denver ( that is where the Medic comes from). He also enjoyed working with middle school boys at St. Labre and elders from the North Cheyenne tribe.

Jeremy was also a Lone Scout in the Boy Scouts, which means he was not a part of a troop. He earned his Eagle Scout by the age of 14. He also volunteered as an Assistant Scout Master in Dillon and as the Cub Master here in Hamilton.

Jeremy loved his 4 children very much. He would be so proud of them!

The cache is a test strip container. Since Jeremy was a Type 1 Diabetic, it is only fitting to use this. I placed the cache at Blodgett Park. We have a cache here awhile back called The Toy Box. The park is open from Sunrise to Dusk and can be busy at times with muggles enjoying lunch or exploring the Bitterroot River.

NOTE: Make sure to sign the cache logbook, as online "Found It" logs without a corresponding entry in the logbook will be deleted.
