Desolation Traditional Cache

This is in the Dry Valley area. Approximately 33 miles South of Hwy 20 on Hwy. 395. A vehicle with adequate clearance and reliablility are all that is neccessary. A four wheel drive is needed to drive the last .4 miles if you desire.
This is an ammo can, original contents are:

1 can of baked beans
A firestarter kit
Mini Chevron car
Butane lighter
Half roll of toilet paper
This cache is about the location, the name Desolation really does describe it. It is on a hillside overlooking the vally. The difficlulty will be in choosing the right roads to get you there as most of them are unmapped. Be prepared, have plenty of gas, water and a spare tire. It is a 15 mile walk to the highway if you break down, no cell phone service and no traffic to give you a ride. There are several different roads in the area, some go past old long abandoned homesteads. On the way you should see antelope, rabbits, hawks and cows(its an open range, please close all gates).
