Geocache Description:

Hidden in the Ballachulish Slate Quarry. The 4th Lochaber Cub Pack meet every week in the nearby village hall. We thought it would be a great idea to hide a Geocache close by so others can see the beautiful Quarry and the surrounding area.

This Geocache has been hidden by the 4th Lochaber Cubs. You will NOT need to climb any part of the quarry to find it. Look for the large standing stone that faces the slate and water, take some amazing pictures and then you can start looking. The Cache has been placed by the water, under some rocks and slate. Inside the Cache you will find drawings our Cubs have created for you to see what they enjoy doing in Scouting. We ask that you leave the drawings with the Cache so others can see. We have left some items for you to swap with us. The area can be popular with tourists so look out for Muggles when finding the cache. 

Inside you may be lucky enough to find the two trackables we have left behind. We ask that if you do decide to take one that you follow the instructions for that trackable. Please ensure you write to us in the notebook!
