Kouri Ocean Tower Traditional Cache

An easy cache meant to show you a really cool spot on Kouri Island.  This Ocean Tower opened up less than a year ago, and it's worth going to see just for the beautiful view.  You don't have to pay to grab the cache.  It's placed in the overflow parking lot. 

The Kouri Ocean Tower opened up less than a year ago.  For an entrance fee of 800 Yen (adult price--kids are cheaper) you can ride a cart up to the tower, which has three different levels of panoramic views of the islands and sea.  You also can walk through a museum of over 10,000 shellfish from around the world, and of course, there's the souvenir shop full of samples.  You can even watch them make the delicious cookies they sell from behind a window.  After the gift shop is a restaurant with a beautiful view and delicious Thai green curry or pizza. So, come for the cache, but stay for the good times and view!
