This virtual cache is located in the Peace Valley Nature Center. It was dedicated to commemorate the life of a fallen soldier who lost his life serving with the U.S. Army Rangers in Afghanistan as part of the Enduring Freedom campaign. As he was a frequent visitor to the park, and an expert in wilderness survival and nature, the memorial has had an significant wildlife figure carved into it depicting a favorite remembrance of the family. While it is possible to drive almost directly to the cache we would highly recommend a hike in from anywhere on the 14 miles of trails or a reflective hike through the parks trails from the memorial to remember what a great country we have and the price that some have paid to ensure it for us.
Finders can email us (address encrypted below) with the picture on the monument to validate the cache.
