Geocache Description:

This is a 4 stage multi cache to highight some of the parks in Green Trails. Based on the locations, parking for Stage 1 and walking is probably best. Some of the plates may be harder to find in the winter, but they are out there in all seasons.

Stage 1

These coordinates put you in College Road Park. This is the start of the MolsonBlue2001 vanity plate reality tour. Search around this park and try to find a vanity plate installed in this park (it is not at the posted coordinates, but is within a few hundred feet). This is the most recent installation by the MolsonBlue family. It was put in place to celebrate the combination of the House of Olson and the House of Alderson.

Enjoy the water views or the playground equipment while you are here at the Road to Higher Learning Park. The youngest members of the MolsonBlue family prefer the monkey bars.

Once you find the example of our vanity, get some information off of the plate. To get to Stage 2 do the following:

To the North coordinates for Stage 1 add the following (multiply 21 by the only number on this plate and then add the total number of lines on the plate).

To the West coordinates for Stage 1 subtract the following (count the number of the letter Os [for Olson of course] and multiply by 85).

Stage 2

The second stage of this multi will require a bit of travel, but walking or biking is probably most efficient.

The answer from Stage 1 takes you to another park in Green Trails. Another search of the area is necessary as somewhere in this park is yet another plate we had placed.

This park has different amenities to enjoy while you are searching. This is also the park that we have used for our family easter egg hunt every year with the kids. This is called "Jonathan's Park" as the plate was placed when he joined the family.

Once you find the example of our vanity, get some information off of the plate. The Park District went and changed things here on me. Time waits for no one, so there are two plates here. The plate you can take a rest on is not the correct one. The Hint still applies to the right plate. To get to Stage 3 do the following:

To the North coordinates for your answer to get to Stage 2 subtract the following (count all of the letters only and add 11 to your count).

To the West coordinates for your answer to get to Stage 2 add the following (300 + 50).

Stage 3

The third stage of this multi will require a bit of travel, but walking or biking is probably most efficient.

The answer to Stage 2 will take you to Stage 3 which is in another park in Green Trails. Another search of the area is necessary as somewhere in this park is yet another plate we had placed.

This park has a combination of the different amenities from the earlier stages to enjoy while you are searching. This is called "Josephine's Park" as the plate was placed when she joined the family.

Once you find the example of our vanity, get some information off of the plate. To get to Stage 4 (Final) do the following:

To North coordinates from your answer to get to Stage 3 add the following (count the number of initials [full names were too big to fit of course] on the plate ad multiply by 6).

To the West coordinates from your answer to get to Stage 3 subtract the following (take the two numbers on the plate and put them side by side to get a two digit number and then add 14).

The final should be a short walk away from Stage 3 and be a small container with room for some small items and travelers.
