Walrus (redux) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

iamkrzys: I checked on the cache today and it is missing. Since the container was hand-sculpted it is hard to replace and so, I have to archive this cache.

Geocache Description:

Fun traditional cache located in less frequented part of Nomahegan Park.

When I was growing up in Poland I was fascinated by walruses and probably most fascinated by their long tusks which like this cache description, are seemingly useless. Later I have learned that Pacific walrus has tusks that are longer than those of Atlantic walrus. There is a lot more you can learn about walruses if you search the Web – for example, the walrus has an air sac under its throat which acts like a floatation bubble and allows it to bob vertically in the water and sleep.
