This cache is on top of a rock at the beginning of Seldovia bay, next to a channel marker 3 and a Fish and Game Regulatory sign.
Warning! Do not go near the edges anywhere in Seldovia, The sedimentary soils are often underminded by winter storms. It looks like plants and grass, but it could be a thin layer of soil held up by roots, over a straight drop off the edge, onto rocks far below.
Small dirt street goes to the beach. This is a platted city road and public access is totally allowed. This historical town has many roads that run straight into the ocean for boat launching access in the old days.
A rope has been supplied to help with the first approach. From there it is a safe walk to the cache, but watch the other trails nearby and skirt around questionable spots.
