Geocache Description:

After we enjoyed a couple of caching visits to the Ueland Tree Farm, we realized that the area had room for more caches and the opportunity for some more pleasant walking in the woods. So we decided to return and explore some of the untried trails (untried to us) while placing some caches along the way. This cache is one of those.

Each cache we planted contained a geocache “seed” known as a micro which is ready to be planted (log included in seed) only needing camouflage. The type of seed in the cache is indicated in the cache title. If you trade for the “seed”, please plant it in an appropriate place when you get the chance and publish the location for all to know. Remember that you must make an equitable trade for the seed.

As for this cache, you are looking for a 4 by 6 inch LocknLock that is painted to better blend in with its surroundings. Please be careful and tread lightly when searching. There is a Kennedy Half-Dollar for the FTF. (Note: there is also a 500 won Korean coin if the FTF prefers. It is roughly worth fifty cents but that value fluctuates daily.) Cache is covered so please make sure the cache is covered when you rehide it.

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. The actual cache coordinates are somewhere in the puzzle picture included with this cache web page. See Hwatu Puzzle Rev 1 below. In the picture are some Hwatu or “flower cards” used to play many popular Korean card games like Seotda. The cards originated in Japan where they are called Hanafuda and drifted to other countries including Hawaii and Korea. I find the Hwatu cards interesting in design, lay-out and use. Maybe you will too.

Before you go, you can check your results here:GeoChecker.com.

There are other caches in the tree farm with some before this cache and some after so you might want to go for those too. Makes for some enjoyable walking and caching.

Congrats to Zacsquatch for being the FTF !!
