Take a walk along the refurbished Beach Road. This 2 km stretch is the main attraction to Pattaya with a freshly lain pedestrian-friendly walkway. If you would like to try some really good food and see some interesting shops and meet some interesting people then this is the place to come. Buzy nearly all the time. CrowdsExcersise enthusiasts in the morning, tourists in the day and the nightlife is out of this world.
The best mode of attack would be to get a Song Thaew (Baht Bus) to drop you here at the corner and then walk the stretch. Stealth is the word. Coach loads of Japanese will pour across the road and swamp you. Wet and weary crowd of paracenders will crowd around waiting for their next transport to arrive oblivious to the fact that they block the entire pavement! Vendors of inumerous variety will try to sell you their wares.
It is a colourful, thriving place. You will need to be very stealthy. Please leave caches and return if there are too many muggles. The finds are easy once you get used to the hides but stealth is the issue.
