La Chiesa parrocchiale dei Santi Gervaso e Protaso (o Gervasio e Protasio) rappresenta, con il vicino battistero, il monumento più significativo di Baveno. Edificata nel corso del XII secolo, presenta rifacimenti e aggiunte di epoche successive: gli affreschi situati all'interno, l'abside risalente al 1607, gli ingrandimenti delle cappelle laterali nel XVIII, la sacrestia del 1717, la volta barocca della navata. Il battistero invece, pur essendo di origine paleocristiana, fu pesantemente modificato in epoca barocca: gli affreschi della cupola sono invece databili ai secoli XV e XVI.
Nell'estate 2014, la comunità ha voluto dedicare una targa al parroco Don Alfredo.
The Church of Saints Gervase and Protaso is, with the nearby baptistery, the most significant monument of Baveno, Built in the XII centurry, it has renovations and additions of later eras: the frescoes located in the apse dating from 1607, the enlargments of the side chapels in the XVII, the sacristy in 1717, the vault of the nave Baroque. The baptistery instead, although early Christian, was heavily modified in the Baroque period: the dome frescoes are dated back to the XV and XVI centuries.
In the summer of 2014, the Community dedicated a plaque (next to the Church) to the parish priest Don Alfredo.
