The sugar cane mill in Eston, KwaZulu-Natal is known as the Illovo Sugar Mill.
It was established in 1995 to replace the old Illovo Mill and to date crushes millions of tons of sugar cane every year.
The Mill aims to improve the standards of living for people in surrounding communities and provides infrastructure and education where these were previously lacking.
