Geocache Description:

Quick traditional cache at the top of the biggest of Maquire Peaks.

There are several caches recognizing the various Maquire Peaks, and now we have one to recognize the big guy.  This one is accessed by a nice simple frequented climbing path, no bushwhacking required, up from a trail near the old "Ape's Escape", and provides amazing views of the Sunol Wilderness and the San Antonio Reservoir to the north.  Lots of nice space up here for a rest, picnic, or maybe even a regular hoe down!

Cache is right near the middle of everything, but hidden so that it won't be accidentally noticed by muggles, or stomped on by bovine visitors.  Please rehide with care.

Enjoy!

Congrats to Nozy Nabor for the FTF!
