My stepdaughter Ashley, recently graduated from the nearby high school and recently moved to North Carolina. She was my geocaching buddy, and my smiley's have plateaued since her departure. After all, who wants to go alone? My 8 year old daughter and her little girlfriend wanted to go out today, and I happily obliged. They were super excited, and it felt great to get outside and enjoy a perfect early fall afternoon.
So in honor of Ashley, I planted this where she was most happiest.
