Pod hradem se nachází stejnojmenné město, které je oblíbenou destinací vodáků, kteří městem proplouvají, a to zejména v letních měsících.
Důvodem založení kešky v této lokalitě je jednak již zmíněný pohled na hrad, ale hlavně nostalgie spojená s naší svatbou, která proběhla v červenci 2014 v hotelu U Martina na levém břehu Vltavy. Jeden ze svatebních darů byl geocoin, který jsme se rozhodli vypustit do světa právě zde, společně se založením naší první kešky.

The location of the cache is a great view point on Rožmberk castle which is situated on the other side of Vltava river, the longest river in the Czech Republic. For more information about the castle we advise you to visit the official site: www.hrad-rozmberk.eu
A small town of the same name is situated below the castle and is known to be a frequent destination of paddlers that ‚sail‘ the river mainly in sommer season.
The reason to hide the cache here is not only because of the already mentioned great view on the castle, but mainly due to nostagic reasons related to our wedding that took place in July 2014 in hotel U Martina on the left side of the river. One of the wedding gift was a geocoin which we decided to release for its travel just here, while establishing our first cache.
