This spot is perfect for a picnic on the river or to throw a line in and see if you can catch one of the many salmon that migrate up our river each year. Species of salmon are Chinooks (Springs), Chum, Pinks and Coho and the season runs from May to October, depending on which species you are after. Because of our abundance of salmon, we also have many bears that frequent the area so please be bear aware and don't leave food/garbage around, make noise and follow safe bear practices when walking the trail.
