Geocache Description:

祭神は春日権現こと天兒屋根命（あめのこやねのみこと）。
寛文10年（1670年）以前の建立と考えられている。
春日神社では3年に一度10月に、祭礼を行っている。珍しい祭礼で、御輿は担がずに雄と雌の二つの巨大な獅子頭を担いで町中を練り歩く。
拝殿の奥にある本殿には美しい彫刻が施されています。

近くにある監視カメラは拝殿・本殿に向いています。
ペンを持ってきてください。
キャッシュサイズはスモールです。

Kasuga Shrine is dedicated to Kasuga Gongen (known as Ameno Koyaneno Mikoto).
This shrine built in prior to 1670.
There is a unique festival in the Kasuga Shrine in October once in three years.
In this festival, people don't shoulder the mikoshi but two Shishi-gashira (huge lion heads) of male and femal and parade the town.
