Geocache Description:

This cache is placed here with permission; it should be a quick P&G. There may be people nearby depending on when you visit, but no extraordinary stealth should be required. If asked, just explain what you are doing.

If you look up the word “Asperges” online, you will be asked “Do you mean aspergers?” or you may be directed to French recipes for asparagus. Neither of these will help you in finding this geocache.

Asperges is a Christian tradition of sprinkling the congregation with holy water as a remembrance of baptism and renewal of their Baptismal promises. At this location, it is usually the children who get to sprinkle the rest of the congregation amid lots of laughter.

Six! geocachers converged on the cache at the same time and agreed to share FTF honors - GeoRaider, Ivywoman, DeStephano, EliteItalian, Courtesyman and R W A.
