This cache is on the trail up French Mountain in Rome, located on public land acquired by the Belgrade Regional Conservation Alliance. A small parking lot for the trailhead is located on Watson Pond Road, .7 miles south of Rt. 27. Be sure to finish the hike as there are very few trails in the state that offer such a big reward for so little effort. The cache unclips, please do not pull. Also, this is childproof container: push down and turn to the left.
