The starting coordinates bring you to a marker commemorating Hecker Pass, named for Henry Hecker, who as instrumental to the completion of this pass along California Highway 152, The-Yosemite-To-The-Sea Highway. If westbound there's a small pull out or you could walk over from the Mount Madonna Inn parking lot. There is also a small stretch along Pole Line road where you can park. A small trail runs between the plaque and the area the cache is in and is accessible from Pole Line Road.
