Well, you are beyond halfway and it will be quicker to continue on the trail.. my caching buddy and I talk about the trail a lot during geocaching, one of us usually says 'trust the trail' if we think the other is going off-road too soon. This is a great piece of advice if you are going for the older cache next on your radar placed on this trail in 2003, but for now, this advice is not needed. When searching for this cache, your feet will only leave the trail 20-30 feet or so.
This cache is a regular size plastic ammo can hidden in the woods. You will probably need a pen to sign the log, so byop.. all mine are in my geobag. My only responsibility was to put in pens.. she homemade most of the logs, sorted and stuffed all the swag, painted and duck taped caches. I watched.. whined I was ready to go already.. slowed her down a good bit.. but put in pens? Nope, all good geocachers have pens already.. or so I rationalized when questioned "Where's the pens?" So, if you now believe I am actually asleep while she still up typing up this last geocache description.. you are correct. Geocachers are good people who sometimes form teams to geocache together. Our team is TeamOurs and it works out quite well in spite of current passive aggressive behaviors..
