Redcliff is a town of almost 5000 residents just 5 miles northwest of Medicine Hat on the TransCanada Highway.
It is quite historic, but the major part of its history was in the early 1900s. The town of Redcliff is quite proud of its history as proven by the Brick Mural on the front of the Town Administration Office building.
The coordinates will take you there where you will find the information you need to complete the puzzle and get the location of the cache itself.
The mural depicts various stages in the development of Redcliff and a write up about the mural is on a brass plaque right in front of the mural.
You will be looking for the final 3 digits of the northing and westing coordinates to plug into the following formula:
N 50 05.ABC W 110 48.DEF
A= Refer to mural #4 and find the number of visible hooves on the Mayor's "War Horse"
B= Refer to mural # 11 or 14 and count the number of students in Flora Ogilivie's class
C= refer to mural #5 and find the number of wheels visible on the bus manufactured by the Redcliff Commercial Cars Company. (Don't count the steering wheel as a wheel)
D= Refer to mural #2 and mural #17 and find the number of letters in either the 2nd or 3rd line of Rudyard Kipling's statement about Redcliff and subtract from that the number of bottles being sorted by the two ladies.
E= Refer to mural #21 and find the number of people APPEARING on CHAT TV (presumably the noon show!)
F= Refer to mural # 20 and find the number of visible pockets on "Paddy" Hill's uniform.
Since this is a field puzzle, I'm not going to give you a coordinate checker (and besides, you shouldn't need it!)
The final isn't far, but you probably won't want to walk to it.
When you get to the final you will see a lot of something that Redcliff is really known for at the present. These will be your codeword for the MHAA series.
Good luck in your quest.
