Geocache Description:

 A 300 metres (980 ft) pier was built here in the 1990s, and opened on November 1997.

 

Come along for a swim or surf over summer, experance the beautful sight of the pier going out into the waves, great experance for young and old. The cache is my first to hide. I made it all by my self :) hence all New Zealand made. Easy parking and only a short walk. Ensure you watch the children around the water. Great place to fly a kite or just sit back and relax. it has a log and pencil and room for swaps.
