This is our second ever cache. We have been so excited as a family to learn about geocaching in these last few months that we couldn't resist hiding our own. The kids had a great time learning from tier dad how to create camouflage paint patterns using paint with leaves.
We chose this bush land to hide the cache as we and many other families spend their afternoons up here waiting for tier children to finish their activities. The park hosts football in winter and there is a scouts group plus gymnastics near by. On most afternoons you will see parents doing laps dodging kangaroo poo while the kids are training.
The place where we chose to hide the cache came as a bit of a surprise to us one afternoon. On one side of the track you are surrounded by pure beautiful Australian Bush land. On the other side of the track is a view of a private vineyard. The kids love this little surprise vineyard hiding in the bush as there are sheep grazing under the grapes. We haven't made this too hard to find as we want the kids to enjoy the victory.
Please be aware of snakes in warmer months, whilst I have yet to encounter one here I would certainly advise caution.
