With that in mind, what could possibly be more rewarding for Geocachers than to have the opportunity to earn a “Found It” smilie at the same time as a visit to an amazing public service location that we, as Americans, often take completely for granted and, most times, do not recognize as a rare privilege we should be honored to have the ability to enjoy each day FOR FREE?!? And, as if ALL THAT that weren’t quite enough already, this adventures offers you the opportunity to earn a smilie with some stages located at the SMILEY Branch of the Denver Public Library!!!
To earn your smilie: you'll need to solve the puzzle (you can do that ahead of time)! (If you'd like to print a larger copy of the puzzle, click on the gallery of images and print from there.) Once you've arrived at the location, utilize the puzzle information/clues to locate the physical waypoint and solve for the combination, then locate the Final and open it successfully to finish the hunt and sign the log! The Final will have a four-digit code you'll want to jot down as part of a larger puzzle. The Final is a regular in size and is stocked full of fun little goodies for trade. It has plenty of room for travelers as well.

The William H. Smiley branch offers something unique to the Denver Public Library System: the Northwest Denver Toy Library where individuals are offered the opportunity to “check out” toys for a period of time in the same manner we can “check out” books. This is a service completely funded and operated by volunteers and is the only Toy Library in the Denver Metro Area. Being cognizant of this worthwhile community offering, we wanted to include some of the Toy Library flavor into our Geocaching adventure to first, bring this fabulous volunteer contribution to your awareness and, second, encourage you to participate in, volunteer toward, and/or facilitate this create endeavor (as will we)!
