Webster County is a county located in the U.S. state of Nebraska. As of the 2010 census, the population was 3,812. Its county seat is Red Cloud.
In the Nebraska license plate system, Webster County is represented by the prefix 45 (it had the forty-fifth-largest number of vehicles registered in the county when the license plate system was established in 1922).
Webster County was formed in 1871. It was named after the statesman Daniel Webster.
